Spin Clean Record Washer MK II – An excellent system for cleaning large numbers of records at one time. This is the most economical way to effectively remove the dirt and dust from the grooves in your record collection. Basic model is value priced at $79.95
Rega RP1 – A fabulous value entry-level turntable from Rega, with all the advantages of the Rega tonearm and plinth construction without the high price. An Ortofon OM 55e comes standard. The excellent Rega Elys 2 cartridge is a highly recommended upgrade. A bargain at only $445.
Okki Nokki Record Cleaner – Excellent German made record clearner with ergonomics not dissimilar to the VPI record cleaner. Quieter operation, and very powerful vacuum for quick and efficient cleaning. Value priced at $599 or $649 with a dust cover.
LFD Phono Stage LE – we are excited to introduce LFD’s superb sounding solid-state phono stage, a unit designed to provide all the magic and musicality of tubes without the maintenance . Designed for use with medium and high output moving cartridges, it is also in stock in a special edition with enhanced performance owing to a significantly larger power supply and silver internal wiring. Sutherland 20/20 Phono Stage – A brilliant true dual mono design from Sutherland. Ultra low noise floor with two separate power supplies and separate left and right channel power cables. Excellent channel separation, and a huge variety of gain and loading options for ultimate cartridge flexibility. Also, less expensive than the top Sutherland battery powered designs at $2195.
Sound Smith Cartridges – Ultra low mass moving iron cartridges that outperforms many of the top moving coil designs! Top of the line Sussuro has 0.3 mV output.
Palmer Turntable 2.5 – An exciting new state- of-the-art effort with an extremely massive billet aluminum platter, a high-mass record clamp, a compressed birch veneer plinth, a tungsten carbide platter bearing, and a very well isolated AC synchronous motor. The turntable was designed by renaissance man Jonathan Palmer, a UK based mechanical engineer, musician, and audio maven. Classic British made analogue sound.
Pyon Turntable – Beautifully crafted turntables designed by Korea’s audio genius, John Park. Built using incredibly dense and acoustically inert tankwood, this turntable features top quality titanium, gold, and ceramic parts. Looking and sounding quite comparable to several $40,000 and up German designs, the Pyon is available for under $20,000 with tonearm, depending upon options.

Wadia S7i – Wadia’s new top of the line CD player with balanced outputs, digital inputs, and superb digital to analog conversion. This player doesn’t sound digital or fatiguing and its built like a tank. Now playing in our main listening room and the best single box player we’ve heard to date.

Rega Brio – The entry product in Rega’s integrated amplifier line with 49 watts into 8 ohms. No remote control, but a high quality built-in moving magnet phono stage and superb Rega sound. $699
Perreaux Audiant 80i – One of the most exciting products ever to be introduced to the United States by Fidelis AV, the Audiant 80i is an integrated amplifier with a built in DAC and moving magnet phono stage. Built “upside down” on a beautiful piece of extruded aluminum, which not only forms the stylish top of the case but also serves as the main heatsink. This unit has remote control, a touch screen panel, and puts out a very detailed sounding 80 watts into 8 ohms (130 into 4 ohms). An oversized 400 VA power transformer lurks in this slim and stylish, but hefty unit. Hand made in New Zealand. Check out Neil Gader’s highly positive review in The Absolute Sound. Introductory price of $2995.
LFD LE MK 4 – We hope you may have read the Sam Tellig’s glowing January 2011 Stereophile review on this gem of an integrated amplifier. Sam uses the LE IV with his Harbeth C7ES-3 loudspeakers. Musicality in spades! Warm sound bordering on the romantic, from a purist solid-state analogue unit. You will think there must be tubes in there. Highly recommended. $3695.
Naim Uniti – All in one amplifier, CD player, FM tuner and DAC with USB memory stick interface. This is an all in one perfectionist unit, with 50 watts per channel. The transport is of a quality on par with separate Naim CD players, and will be familiar to anyone used to their slide out drawer and puck arrangement. $3795.
Perreaux Eloquence 250i – This top-of-the line integrated amplifier features balanced XLR inputs, advanced volume and balance controls, and a full 250 watts per channel into 8 ohms and a massive 500 watts into 4 ohms. Truly this is an integrated amplifier to compete with large separate power amplifiers! A knockout unit at $8995.
Perreaux Prisma SM6 Mk II Preamplifier – Perreaux’s balanced preamplifier with its sleek aesthetic and phenomenal sound is the perfect match for their famous power amplifiers, which have been controlling speakers since 1974. Reasonably priced for an XLR preamplifier at $4799
Perreaux Prisma 350 Stereo Power Amplifier – This 66 lb. behemoth may not be fun to pick up, but it is a pleasure to listen too. It has 350 watts available into 8 ohms, and 600 watts available into 4 ohms, with a damping factor of 700 and a 1390 VA power supply. It can handle very inefficient speakers and deliver dynamics that sound like real live music, all with high resolution, without causing fatigue and with tight clean bass. $8495
Conrad Johnson ET5 – The new high-end tube preamplifier from CJ, and our first choice of preamplifier in our main listening room for showing off almost all of our other components. This preamplifier uses an enhanced triode circuit that is extremely similar to the one in the flagship GAT preamplifier. Priced at $9500.
Conrad Johnson LP 125M – Conrad Johnson least expensive all tube monoblocks. Very impressive at driving difficult low impedance speakers with satisfying and tight base control, as well as the musical midrange presentation you might expect from 6550 output tubes. These amplifiers provide a very dynamic 125 pure tube watts that sound like 300 watts of solid-state power. These amplifiers have very high quality output transformers. These tube monoblocks are some of the least fussy and easiest to bias we have ever played, and they allow us to simply enjoy the music they produce. Priced at $9500 for the pair.
NEW SPEAKER PRODUCTS:
Triangle Comete 30th Anniversary – A fabulous value and super easy to drive, Triangle of France has celebrated its 30th anniversary by redesigning its Comete EX speaker with a fabulous new tweeter. This new tweeter is still horn loaded but now machined rather than cast out of aluminum with far greater precision. Easy to place and not as forward sounding as past Triangle efforts we feel this is a fabulous audio value for money. At 90 db sensitivity and 8 ohms nominal impedance this is a great choice for lower powered amplifiers. Excellent both with and without tube equipment, and very positively reviewed by Sam Tellig in Stereophile.$1795.
Kudos X2 - New from England is this very impressive entry-level two-way floor stander. Remarkable bass extension for its small size, great detail, and easy on the amplifier at 8 ohms and 86.5 db sensitivity. Recently awarded the HiFi News “highly commended” badge for its excellent value compared to more expensive models from other manufacturers. $2495.
Kudos Cardea C2 – Possibly our favorite new floor stander, and an outstanding value for well under $5000. Easy to drive and 88db sensitivity, with unbelievable base extension for a two-way speaker. These have immediately impressed everyone who has stopped by for a listen. Hand built in Britain. $3995.
Kudos Cardea C20 – A floor stander that combines the knockout tweeter of the more expensive C30 three-way speaker, with the ease of placement in smaller rooms of the two-way Kudos C2. Kudos gets numerous mentions on the Naim forums as a must audition. While we were initially skeptical of a product with little history in the US market, these have consistently impressed us by matching or beating the sonic performance of anything we’ve heard anywhere near the price. An excellent choice at $5495.
Harbeth M40.1 with Cardas wiring upgrade by Resonant Woods. This upgrade also includes new connectors, improved internal damping materials and customized finish. Results are audibly and visually stunning.

Wilson Sophia 3 – Replacing the highly regarded Sophia 2 is this latest effort from the brilliant audio engineers from Wilson Audio. This massively well-built floor stander is a Wilson that you don’t have to be a millionaire to afford, but provides a full range sound (now down to 20hz at -3dB, a significant improvement in extension over the Sophia 2) with amazing resolution. We also have the stunning Wilson Sasha on display. The Sashas offer a significant upgrade to the legendary Watt/Puppy series and amply demonstrate how far the state of current speaker design has advanced. Come in for a listen….it’s worth the trip!
